The Deloro Landfill is closed today (Wednesday, Aug. 25).
According to a City of Timmins notice, the temporary closure of the site on Pine Street South is due to "unforeseen circumstances."
"We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause we appreciate your patience while we rectify the issue," reads the notice from Environmental Services.
The Deloro Landfill is the only site that is usually open on Wednesday.
The Tisdale Transfer station is open during the summer on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
