Want another great live music event this summer? Your votes are needed to make it happen.
Timmins is one of the finalists for SiriusXM Canada's Music Town. The city with a heart of gold is competing against Belleville, Orangeville and Uxbridge to win a Walk off the Earth concert.
"We're energized by the incredible hometown stories and the country's passion for live music," said Sarah Blackwood of Walk off the Earth in a news release. "We can't wait to hit the road with SiriusXM and celebrate with our fans."
The winner will be named based on the total number of votes and rally points during the voting period, which is open until July 11.
You can vote once a day online here. Rally points are earned by taking to social media using #SXMMusicTown. The winner will be announced on July 14.
Walk off the Earth was last in Timmins in 2018 when they headlined the first night of that year's Rock on the River music festival. Check out photos from that night here.
