International Women’s Day is fast approaching and Timmins and Area Women in Crisis has begun to plan an amazing evening for 10 women and their supportive families!
Each year, Timmins and Area Women in Crisis presents an International Women’s Day Celebration. This celebration is intended to recognize 10 women in our community that have overcome some form of adversity. TAWC would like your help to find these 10 special women!
They are calling out to the community to nominate the women in their lives that have overcome some form of adversity. The nominations will be reviewed and the winners will be contacted to assist in the preparation of their personal biography and receive their 4 free tickets to a dinner and award ceremony to share with their loved ones at a private evening at the Dante Club.
Tickets will be made available at a cost for any additional tickets that winners may require, to family or friends of award winners and to community service providers that wish to recognize a winner they have nominated. Due to the confidential nature of some of the winner biographies, this event is not made available to members of the general public that are not positively associated with an award winner.
