At approximately 5 p.m. on October 22, 2015, Steven Leduc, 32, of Timmins was located and apprehended by Timmins police officers.
Police had been attempting to locate Leduc following an incident on October 21, where he fled from police outside of the Ontario Court of Justice.
Leduc was arrested without incident in the area of Birch Street North and Algonquin Avenue.
He faces charges of escape lawful custody and fail to comply with probation.
The Timmins Police Service thanks the media and the public for their assistance in sharing information throughout this investigation.
We also thank the Ontario Provincial Police’s Canine unit for their assistance in the search.
