St. Charles woman wins $239K in hospital foundation's 50/50 draw

It's her second win on a Northern Ontario foundation draw this year

Lucie Labelle won the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation's April 50/50 draw.

A St. Charles woman on a winning streak took home the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation's (TADHF) April 50/50 draw. 

Lucie Labelle won $239,000 on the Timmins draw. 

Labelle, who according to the TADHF announcement, has been supporting the draws in Northern Ontario communities also won the West Nipissing foundation's month prize recently. 

“These foundation lotteries are the best way to support healthcare for northerners and to raise funds for needed hospital equipment, everybody wins,” said Labelle in the announcement.

In the future, she hopes to retire in a home on a lake. 

Sales for the May TADHF 50/50 are open. Tickets bought before May 5 at noon have a chance at winning the $5,000 early bird Cinco de Mayo draw.
