Speakers Series to discuss personal growth

On July 24, at 9:30 a.m., St. Mary’s Gardens Seniors Speakers Series will provide information on personal growth.

“Personal growth doesn’t end when we retire,” said Dawna Carrier, Community Relations Coordinator at St. Mary’s Gardens, “this session will provide information to improve your quality of life by investing in yourself and learning the skills necessary to instill the conditions essential for  growth and fulfillment.”

Walter Cecchini will discuss the importance of living in the moment and celebrating ‘momentary success’. Choose to change your ‘factory settings’ and find the sacred in the mundane.

Christina Jupp, from Northern College, will provide information on continuing education such as which courses are offered, how to register and where they are available.

Seniors, family members, and caregivers are invited to attend. Admission is free. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Seating is limited.

St. Mary’s Gardens is located on Pine Street North across from the 101 Mall. St. Mary’s Gardens will feature different speakers every three to four weeks, covering a variety of topics from financial and estate planning to fraud prevention and health.
