Snow squall warning issued for:
   Kapuskasing - Hearst - Smooth Rock Falls
   Timmins - Cochrane - Iroquois Falls

Current details:
Brief, intense snowfall is occurring. Visibilities will be rapidly reduced due to the heavy snow.

Timing:
Continuing into early this evening.

Hazards:
Near zero visibility in brief heavy snow.
Snowfall rates of up to 5 cm per hour.

Discussion:
A frontal snow squall moving along a sharp cold front is located from Kapuskasing to Fraserdale moving east at 60 km/h. Highway 11 between Kapuskasing and Iroquois Falls will be impacted. In addition, temperatures are expected to fall rapidly behind this cold front.

Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero.
