The Timmins Police Service is investigating an incident which occurred yesterday (Sept. 28) morning at a Kelly-Ann Drive residence in which a man had sustained injury.
Timmins Police officers attended the scene in response to a 9-1-1 call for police assistance.
Due to the level of injury, the 49-year-old male person found at the scene was transported to the Timmins and District Hospital for medical treatment.
The Timmins Police Service does not deem this incident to be a cause for concern in regards to public safety.
The province’s Special Investigations Unit has invoked its mandate to review police conduct in regards to this occurrence.
