Schumacher man faces threat charge after police respond to disturbance

The Timmins Police Service has charged a local man with uttering threats stemming from a disturbance at a Schumacher residence during the mid-morning hours of Friday, April 12.

Responding Timmins Police Service officers restored order at the scene and completed an investigation into the circumstances giving rise to the disturbance.

A suspect was identified to police and located as the scene.

As a result of the incident, Zachary Hansen, 32 of Schumacher, has been arrested and charged with:

  • Uttering threats contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

The accused remains in police custody and is awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court to answer to the charge laid against him.
