Students and teachers at Roland Michener Secondary/Elementary want to make Easter a little brighter for local families this year. They’ll be going door-to-door throughout Porcupine and South Porcupine for their annual spring food drive. It happens on Friday, March 23, between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. We need your help!
Residents are strongly encouraged to leave non-perishable food items outside their door if they are not going to be at home. Alternatively, residents can bring food directly to the school at 155 Legion Drive. Last year Roland Michener collected over 3046 pounds of food and $222 in cash donations for the South Porcupine Food Bank.
