Tuesday, Oct. 9, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

C.M. Shields Centennial Library, South Porcupine

The library has received seed donations and now needs your help to process and label seeds for future planting. Learn about seed saving and share your gardening experiences.

Welcome to Your Museum Night

Oct. 10, 5 – 10 p.m.

Timmins Museum

Discover what the museum has to offer. There will be live music and refreshments, behind the scenes and Hollinger House tours, make a mini pumpkin, and a free gift with the purchase of a museum membership. The event is free. RSVP at 705-360-2617.

Rocktober

Wednesday, Oct. 10, 6:30 p.m.

The Working Class

A night of live music from local musicians. Tickets are $5, with the proceeds going to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation. Kickback Tracii, Sabrina Charlebois, Eric Letourneau, and Aaron Reid will be performing. A portion of the proceeds from every Full Beard beer purchased at the event will also go towards the fundraiser. 

Wards 2, 3 and 4 councillor debate

Oct. 10, 6 – 8 p.m.

Northern College

The Timmins Chamber of Commerce is hosting the debate for candidates running in Ward 2 (South Porcupine), Ward 3 (Schumacher), and Ward 4 (Porcupine).

Wards 1 and 5 councillor debates

Thursday, Oct. 11, 6 – 8 p.m.

College Boreal, 395 Theriault Blvd.

Hear from the candidates in Wards 1 and 5. The event is being hosted by the Timmins Chamber of Commerce.
