Roland Michener Elementary hosted the District School Board Ontario North East Cross Country Challenge on Friday, Oct. 14, 2016.

The event took place on the grounds and running trails of Northern College, where nearly 400 students from across our three regions attended.

This event allowed athletes of all levels the opportunity to push themselves and work towards reaching personal bests, while engaging in friendly competition. The divisions included Grade 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 (girls and boys.)

There were many excellent performances and the venue provided the runners with a chance to showcase their efforts and commitment during the cross country season. Congratulations to all runners on a job well done!
