More organized rain and isolated thunderstorms is expected to develop late today and continue tonight. It will linger until late in the day on Thursday. Rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 millimetres are likely, although some areas that see several thunderstorms may receive higher amounts.

At this point, it appears that the highest amounts are most likely for areas close to the eastern shores of Lake Superior, especially tonight.

This statement will be updated as new information becomes available. Rainfall warnings may be issued later today.
