Much of Timmins is in the dark.
Power went out in the city around 8 a.m. this morning.
While there is no official word from Hydro One on the disruption, their online outage map shows areas across the city and beyond are affected.

Hydro One has since sent a Tweet that said the outage affects more than 20,000 customers in the area.

Update: On Twitter, Hydro One said the outage was due to an equipment failure at the Hanmer station.
