The Timmins Police Service is still investigating an incident involving a missing person since Friday, Sept. 30.

Eleena Sutherland, 12, of Timmins was reported missing to the Timmins Police Service when she failed to return home as expected.

The missing youth was last seen on the morning of Sept. 29 when she departed from her residence to attend school. She had sent a message to her mother indicating that she would be returning home but has failed to do so.

The missing person is described as an aboriginal female, 168 centimeters tall, weighing 54.5 kilograms, and having long brown hair, and brown eyes.

She is known to commonly carry a grey shoulder bag and may be wearing bright coloured leggings.

Anyone with relevant information as to the current whereabouts of this person is asked to call the Timmins Police Service at 705-264-1201 referencing incident number TI 16019346.
