Police need help identifying break-in suspects

A Belanger Avenue building under construction was damaged

The Timmins Police are asking for help to solve a break-in at a construction site last month.

According to Cochrane District Crime Stoppers, the break-in resulted in about $11,000 in damage and theft. It happened Nov. 1 between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. when two suspects — a male and female — entered an apartment building under construction on Belanger Avenue in Timmins.

"The CCTV camera captures perfect video of the female just before she removes the camera and takes it with her. A male is also seen entering the room. These two suspects caused extensive damage to wiring throughout the building and other property," reads the Crime of the Week report.

If you recognize one of the suspects, call 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or visit www.P3tips.com. You will remain anonymous and not have to testify in court.

If your information leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for up to $2,000 in cash.
