The Timmins Police Service is investigating a robbery which occurred at the Senator Hotel early this morning.
A male person is alleged to have attended the front desk in the hotel’s lobby brandishing an edged weapon and demanding cash based on threats of injury.
The suspect is described as a male person, with a heavy set build and between 20 and 30 years of age. The suspect was wearing a white hoodie, black jacket, blue jeans, running shoes, and a red and black facemask.
The suspect made off with an undetermined amount of cash and fled on foot. No persons sustained injury during the robbery.
The Timmins Police are appealing to the public for assistance in terms of identifying the suspect (see photo) or to provide any other investigative information that could prove useful.
