Timmins Police investigate disturbance, lay charges

The Timmins Police Service was called to the scene of a disturbance at a social service assistance agency office on Second Avenue in Timmins on Friday afternoon.

Upon arrival, the responding police officers began their investigation and located the suspect a short while later.

Briana Cabral, 23, of Timmins, was arrested and charged with:

- One count of cause disturbance contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

- Two counts of uttering threats contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

- One count of fail to comply with Probation Order contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

The suspect was taken into custody and is awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins.
