Party with the Rock tonight!

Catch the parade, then take photos with your favourite players and see the championship trophies
A parade and party are being held on Friday, May 26 to celebrate the Timmins Rock's 2023 NOJHL championship win.

Get out and celebrate the Timmins Rock's championship season.

Tonight (Friday, May 26) an evening of fun is planned for the NOJHL championship-winning junior hockey team. The action runs from 6 to 9 p.m.

It all starts with the NOJHL Championship Parade that starts at the Timmins Museum: NEC and heads to Hollinger Park.

"Fans and spectators are encouraged to stand on the sidewalk following Brunette road in front of Food Basics and Park Road Square," the team shared on Facebook.

"The parade will finish at the Hollinger Park Pavilion where fans will have a chance to take photos with the players and the championship trophies which will be on display."

There will also be free lazer tag and bubble machines at the park courtesy of Climb N Fun, and ColdWater will be performing.

The Junior A hockey club won the NOJHL championship in April, taking the Soo Thunderbirds 4-2 in the best-of-seven series.

The Rock recently returned from the Centennial Cup in Manitoba.

While the hometown boys won their last game 2-1 in a shootout against the Ottawa Jr. Senators, they weren't able to secure the two points needed to advance in the tournament.
