The Timmins Parkinson Support Group held its 9th Annual SuperWalk on Saturday Sept. 7, 2019. The walk was part of the Canada wide fundraising effort to provide assistance to those with Parkinsons today and to find a cure for tomorrow.
A walk of this nature is not possible without the support of many. With that said, we wish to thank our 30 Sponsors (local media, industry and merchants) for their assistance whether it be in the form of funding, in kind services, prizes, food, refreshments and so forth. A big thank you to our volunteers for giving of their time in support of this worthy cause. Special thanks to the more than 65 walkers who joined us at our event. Finally , thank you to the more than 75 individuals who donated on line.
With the help of all involved we not only met our goal, we exceeded our goal of $10,000.
