About 90% of people who drown in recreational boating incidents are not wearing a lifejacket.  Ensure you have a lifejacket or a PDF for each person on board and that they fit properly.  Conditions like rough winds and waves or cold water can make it hard or impossible to find your lifejacket and put it on.

A lifejacket is the best insurance you can have so find one that fits properly and wear it!
