The Iroquois Falls OPP is investigating a break-in which occurred at a Church Street address in the town of Iroquois Falls during the weekend of July 20th.
OPP responded to the scene of the break in to find that the culprit or culprits had made their way into the residence by forcing a basement window.
Once inside, the thieves made off with jewelry, IPOD’s, DVD’s and an extensive international coin and currency collection including coins and bills from Germany, Africa, Barbados, Cuba, Greece, Hawaii, Indonesia, Mexico and Turkey.
The OPP’s Scenes of Crime Officers attended the residence and collected evidence from items that were disturbed but not taken during the break-in.
