KAPSUKASING - During the early months of 2017, in conjunction with the Push For Change event, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) created the initiative, Suits For Change.
The purpose of this initiative was to assist those less fortunate, trying to change their lives by re-integrating themselves into the work force.
The James Bay Detachments collected the following items which were donated to College Boreal (Employment Options) - Youth Job Connection Program:
- 12 men's suits
- Two men's suit jackets
- Four pairs of men's dress pants
- One men's winter dress coat
- 23 men's dress shirts
- 14 ties
- Three pairs of men's dress shoes
North Star Linen cleaned all the donations free of charge.
