MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION INVOLVING SCHOOL BUS

 

(CITY OF TEMISKAMING SHORES, ON)  Members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a motor vehicle collision involving a school bus and a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) on November 8, 2013 at approximately 7:58 a.m.

The collision occurred on Laurette Street in Dymond Township.  The bus had just begun the morning route for school and there was one child on board.

There were no injuries as a result of the collision.

Driver of the SUV, Chantal WYNN 24 years of Lavigne is charged with Unsafe lane change – community safety zone – section 154 (1)(a) of the Highway Traffic Act.

SERVICE INTERUPTION -911 is back in service

(CITY OF TEMISKAMING SHORES, ON)  The Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was advising that 911 services from Temiskaming Shores, north to Kapuskasing were not functioning.

This notice is to advise that the service is restored.  911 is back in service.
