The Northeastern District Catholic School Board (NCDSB) has announced Sean Robertson is now the vice principal at Pope Francis Elementary School.

"Schools are at the heart of our communities," said Robertson in an NCDSB news release.

"As institutions, schools serve the needs of students and their families in striving to maximize potential. These relationships are built on trust and the belief that schools are equipped to meet the diverse needs of learners. This is no small feat and it is the role of the a vice-principal, as a member of the administration team, to foster a positive school atmosphere that ensures a sense of school spirit, but also an orderly climate based in empathy and understanding that inspires distinction, confidence and pride.”

Pope Francis principal Darren Berthier said Robertson is a welcome addition.

"His passion to inspire a community, his love for learning and his faith, will only compliment the amazing things that are going on at Pope Francis Elementary School," said Berthier.

According to NCDSB, Robertson is working on his Doctor of Education through the University of Western Ontario. He is an active member of St. Joachim Parish with his family, and is a Knights of Columbus council member.
