New COVID cases reported at Timmins schools

More COVID-19 cases have been reported at schools in Timmins. 

There is one new student case at École publique Lionel Gauthier, where an outbreak was declared last week. The provincial reporting of school cases now indicates there are a total of five student cases at the school.

At Pope Francis Elementary School, one staff member is a confirmed case. A class is in isolation and the school is open. 

The Porcupine Health Unit normally updates the local COVID-19 situation at noon. It has not released an update yet today.
