NORTHEASTERN CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD

The Northeastern Catholic District School Board (NCDSB) annual board meeting took place on Monday, Dec. 7, 2020 resulting in the acclamation of a new board chair and an acclamation of a new vice-chair.
Fred Salvador Jr. was acclaimed to the position of as board chair for the upcoming 2021 year, previously serving in the role of board vice-chair. Denis Lincez, long serving board member representing the Kapuskasing area, was acclaimed as vice-chair of the board.
Fred Salvador Jr., new board chair, stated “I want to thank my fellow Board members for their confidence in me. I am looking forward to working closely with all of you to ensure that the NCDSB is providing the very best Catholic education for all of the students and families that we represent. It is my prayer that as we approach 2021, and with recent announcements about a potential vaccine for COVID-19 being approved, we can all return to a little more normalcy within our school community.”
