IROQUOIS FALLS - The Mayor of Iroquois Falls, and one of his councillors are under arrest!

On Sunday, March 13 during the Iroquois Falls Winter Carnival, Crime Stoppers is holding a fundraising event where Mayor Michael Shea is charged with “planting seeds for the healthy growth of the future of Iroquois Falls”.

Councillor Jeff Madden has been charged for “cutting down Mayor Shea's shrubs in Anson park."

These charges have been laid on the two members of city council and are looking for the community to come help the raise their "bail”.

Money raised goes directly to the Cochrane District Crime Stoppers, and all donations over $20 are tax deductible.

Come out to see the "arrest" outside Earl Porter Lanes in Iroquois Falls.
