IROQUOIS FALLS – On January 14, 2016, at approximately 1:05 p.m., the Iroquois Falls Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a possible impaired driver.
The OPP located the pick-up truck on Cambridge Avenue in Iroquois Falls, ON.
The investigation revealed that, the driver, Mario LINKLATER, 36, from Matheson, ON, was arrested and charged with:
- Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol – Motor Vehicle, section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code (CC).
- Driving with more than 80 mgs of Alcohol in blood, section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code (CC).
The accused was released from Police custody and is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Timmins on March 8, 2016.
