Staff Sergeant Mark Vallier was summoned by the Timmins Police Senior Administration to attend the board room yesterday (Aug. 21) to receive his 20-year exemplary service medal.

This commemorates a significant milestone in the career of Staff Sergeant Vallier who began his career with the Timmins Police Service on March 22nd, 1999. Mark set himself apart as a duty conscious and meticulous officer who attained the rank of Sergeant in 2010 and was successfully promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant in 2014.

Throughout his career, he applied his steadfast work ethic and knowledge on platoon, as well as in Forensics, and as Traffic Sergeant. Members of senior command staff lauded Mark on this recent achievement and wish him continued professional success as an exemplary officer who serves as a quiet and dedicated example for others to follow.

The Timmins Police Services Board echoes these sentiments in regards to Staff Sergeant Vallier’s commitment to his community and his continuous and tireless efforts in law enforcement.
