Man charged with threatening bank staff

He is accused of uttering threats to cause harm on two occasions

The Timmins Police Service has charged a local man stemming from a series of incidents where a suspect is alleged to have made threatening remarks to a bank employee at a downtown bank in Timmins.

An investigation was completed by the Timmins Police Service which indicates that suspect had attended at a local bank on a number of occasions and is alleged to have indulged in menacing behaviours towards bank staff on Feb. 21 and again on Feb. 22.

The suspect was located and arrested by the Timmins Police Service on Feb. 22. As a result of the incident, Joshua Bolduc, 22, of Timmins, has been charged with:

  • Uttering Threats to Cause Bodily Harm contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

The accused was held in custody while awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to the charge laid against him.
