Male faces several criminal charges

KIRKLAND LAKE – Members of the Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a local man with several criminal offences.

The charges stem from a disturbance and damage done to a residence in Virginiatown and McGarry Township.

The subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the accused.

The incident occurred during the late evening hours on August 11, 2014.

Charged is Rock DALLAIRE age 52 of Virginiatown, Ontario with two counts of Assault, three counts of Threatening, Break Enter a Dwelling House and Commit an Indictable Offence and Mischief Under $5,000.

The accused was remanded into custody pending a bail hearing.
