It's a busy weekend in Timmins. 

Whether you want to relax and whip up a craft, shop handmade, or sample a new brew — there's something for you to do.

Here are some of the events happening this weekend:

Crafternoon

Saturday, April 14, 1 – 4 p.m.

C.M Shields Centennial Library, 99 Bloor Ave., South Porcupine

Bring your current project to the library and enjoy an afternoon with like-minded individuals.

Northern Ontario Handmade Market

April 14, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

McIntyre Community Centre auditorium, 85 McIntyre Rd.

This inaugural market features 27 talented makers offering up photography, artwork, handknit items, bath products, and more. 

Beer Fest

April 14, 1 – 8 p.m.

McIntyre Curling Club

The Timmins Festival and Events Committee is hoppy about this new fundraiser for Rock on the River. Along with Ontario craft beers, there will be local food and musicians. Tickets are available at TimminsFestivals.com.

Diversity of Living Things

Saturday, April 14 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Sunday, April 15, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Mountjoy Arena, 814 Park Ave.

The interactive exhibit will let you get up close with a sloth, tarantualas, skunk, owls, snakes alligator, and more.

Timmins Spring Holistic Healing Fair

Sunday, April 15, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Senator Hotel, 14 Mountjoy St. S., Timmins

The second annual event features more than 30 holistic and wellness vendors.
