A party for all ages celebrating La Ronde’s 53rd anniversary and honouring the retiring Le Chœur chantant du Bel Âge. The Sudbury-based band Nacho Jam with Dayv Poulin will provide live entertainment. The cover band plays music of all genres including old-school French music. The annual food drive will be set up at a number of grocery stores across the city to collect donations of non-perishable food items for area shelters and food banks. It’s organized by the Timmins Police Auxiliary and the South Porcupine OPP Auxiliary, with a little help from the Northern College Police Foundations students.
