A party for all ages celebrating La Ronde’s 53rd anniversary and honouring the retiring Le Chœur chantant du Bel Âge. The Sudbury-based band Nacho Jam with Dayv Poulin will provide live entertainment. The cover band plays music of all genres including old-school French music. Cram a Cruiser

Saturday, Dec. 11

The annual food drive will be set up at a number of grocery stores across the city to collect donations of non-perishable food items for area shelters and food banks. It’s organized by the Timmins Police Auxiliary and the South Porcupine OPP Auxiliary, with a little help from the Northern College Police Foundations students.

Stop by to browse the vendors and makers. Some vendors will be there every week and there will always be new businesses. It’s being hosted by the Downtown Timmins BIA in the former Bucovetsky’s building.
