The much-anticipated lineup for this year's Rock on the River has been released.
For the 2024 edition of the popular music festival, there are three nights of music. It's all happening at Hollinger Park in Timmins from July 18-20.
The first night is for country music fans and will see Dean Brody as the headliner, with Tim Hicks, and Eric Girard and the Travellers hitting the stage first.
Friday, July 19, Bret Michaels is the main act. He's bringing the Parti-Gras tour with him, which includes special guests Dee Snider from Twisted Sister and former Journey vocalist Steve Augeri. The other rock icons hitting the stage are Lita Ford, Honeymoon Suite and Ruuster.
Live is the headliner for Saturday, July 20. The other high-energy performers that night are Buckcherry, Danko Jones and Puddy.
"This year, we're raising the bar and bringing an unprecedented level of talent to Timmins," said committee chair John Olaveson in a news release. "We are incredibly excited to showcase such a stellar lineup of artists, promising an unforgettable experience for all attendees."
This year's festival will also see the return of the Fun Zone, which offers family-friendly activities and live music, all at no cost.
General admission tickets start at $74.95 for Thursday, $84.95 for Friday, and $84.95 for Saturday. These prices don't include HST or service fees. Tickets are available online here.
