Cellular phone service provider Telus and its is reporting outages across Ontario and Quebec.

As of just after 3 p.m., DownDetector.ca has some 3,000 reports of outages. Most of the outages are across a wide swath of southern Ontario, centred around the Greater Toronto Area.

Users may be impacted in different ways, but the outage could make it so you can't access the internet, send or receive text messages or make or receive calls from your device. Koodo is advising customers to have patience and to restart your phone.

Sudbury.com contacted the company over Twitter, and Koodo confirmed it is aware of the issue, but not the cause, and technicians are currently working to resolve the issue. No ETA on when service will return.
