Does your business have a recipe for success? 

Nominations are open for the 2024 Nova Business Awards in Timmins, 

The theme is baking and cooking for the annual awards that will be held on Thursday, May 9. 

"We’re cooking up another great event! We will be dishing out 16 awards recognizing those who have the right ingredients." said Kraymr Grenke, 2023-24 Chamber president, in a news release.

“We knead our community to rise to the occasion and submit nominations for businesses who make an impact. We know our businesses are the best thing since sliced bread and look forward to celebrating them on May 9." 

The categories are:

  • Westland Insurance  Business Contribution to the Community Award (1-5 Employees)
  • The Venture Centre Business Contribution to the Community Award (6-10 Employees)
  • NorthernTel Business Contribution to the Community Award (11+ Employees)
  • FNETB Best Place to Work Award
  • Newmont Porcupine Young Leader Award 
  • RBC Marketing Award
  • National Bank Innovation Award
  • Northern College Service Excellence Award
  • Caisse Alliance New Business Award (Under 2 Years) 
  • TD Bank Group Business of the Year Award (1-5 Employees)
  • Scotiabank Business of the Year Award (6-10 Employees)
  • Kidd Operations Business of the Year Award (11+ Employees)
  • Agnico Eagle Indigenous Partnership Award
  • City of Timmins Non-Profit Organization Award
  • OPG Lifetime Business Achievement Award

The award criteria and nomination packages are available here. Self-nominations are allowed.

Nominations are open until Jan. 31. Finalists will be notified on March 5 and tickets go on sale March 26.
