Students donated profits from canteen sales to youth in need
Donation - OGorman Intermediate Catholic School

TimminsToday received the following note from the Northeastern Catholic District School Board submitted on behalf of O’Gorman Intermediate Catholic School.

***************************
In the spirit of HOPE, O’Gorman Intermediate Catholic School students donated money to two very special families this past weekend.

The Timmins Professional Firefighter’s Association hosted a charity hockey game to raise money for two children who are currently undergoing serious medical treatment, Owen Fodchuk and Jade Collins.

Students donated profits from canteen sales in the amount of $432.81.

The cheque was presented to ‘Sparky’ by two OICS students at Sunday’s game.

Way to go OICS! Owen and Jade, you are in our thoughts and prayers!
