North East Tri-Board Student Transportation has announced this morning that all area school buses are cancelled due to weather. According to First Student Canada - Timmins Branch, the cancellations are due to icy roads and poor conditions.
School buses are cancelled in Timmins, Matheson, Iroquois Falls, Cochrane, Smooth Rock Falls, Kapuskasing, and Hearst.
Schools are open.
The North East Tri-Board Student Transportation provides services for District School Board Ontario North East, the Northeastern Catholic District School Board, and Conseil scolair public du Nord-Est de l'Ontario.
