How was your Stars and Thunder experience?

TimminsToday wants to hear from you!

Now that the people of Timmins and beyond have had a few days to recover from the 8-day Stars and Thunder festival, feedback and reactions are pouring in to various agencies around the city.

The weather held up reasonably well, except for evening wind conditions atop the Hollinger Pit Project berm which caused the cancellation of four fireworks displays. Volunteer efforts have been nearly universally praised. It was by a country mile, the largest event ever run by the City of Timmins, and the largest financial risk. Post festival numbers won't be made available for several weeks.

In the meantime, TimminsToday wants to hear from you as well. Did you attend the festival? Did you go on all eight days?

What were some of the 'pros' and 'cons' from the event?

Were the restroom facilities adequate? Were the concessions plentiful?

Was the festival a bit too long, or would you have liked to have seen it go longer?

Were you blown away by the fireworks? Was the music lineup satisfactory?

Do you feel like you got your money's worth?
