To celebrate NHL Alumni Day in Timmins, a special flag-raising ceremony was held this morning.

Tonight (Nov.16) the Timmins Police All-Stars are facing off against the NHL Alumni at the McIntyre Arena. The puck drops at 7 p.m.

On the ice, Timmins Police Service officers will be going up against NHL Legends Tiger Williams, Rick Vaive, Glen Metropoltis, Troy Crowder, Paul Gagné, Dave Reid, Mark Napier, Brent Gretzky, Bryan Muir, Dan Daoust and Mark Laforest. The alumni coach is Paul Harrison and the referee is Dave Hutchison. 

The game is supporting Special Olympics Ontario and the Law Enforcement Torch Run. 

Tickets are available at the door. It is $22 for adults, $16 for seniors and children under 12 years, and kids under three are free.
