SOUTH PORCUPINE - On Feb. 13, 2019 at approximately 2:05 p.m., the South Porcupine Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to investigate a motor vehicle collision on Highway 144, 30 kilometers south of Highway 101.
At this time, the roadway remains closed between Highway 101 and the Watershed on Highway 144.
The OPP would like to remind motorists that driving on a closed highway could result in a fine of $110 and three demerit points.
The investigation is on-going.
