The Ontario Provincial Police is reporting that Highway 11 north is closed from Thibeault Hill all the way to Marten River.
Sources tell BayToday the collision on the busy highway involves a snowplow and a transport.
The accident occurred around 12:40 a.m.
The accident has already caused long lineups of transports up Algonquin Avenue near Airport Road in North Bay.
