Highway 11 is closed and there's a heightened police presence in Val Rita.
James Bay OPP has issued an advisory warning the public of an increased police presence on Highway 11 in Val Rita,
"The public is urged to avoid the area until the incident is resolved. Updates will be provided as necessary," reads the news release.
All lanes of the road are closed from Kapuskasing to Hearst, according to 511. The reason given is a police investigation. The closure, according to 511, started around 11:40 a.m.
