The Timmins Police wish to advise that all traffic in the area of Hwy 101 in the Schumacher area has returned to normal.
Earlier today a downed Hydro line at or near Ski Runners Road in Schumacher caused the closure of Hwy 101 to allow for crews to tend to the necessary repairs.
Timmins Police Service officers and Timmins Fire Department personnel have cleared the scene. Repairs have been completed, Extensive traffic delays did take place as a result.
The Timmins Police Service appreciate the patience and good judgment shown by most of the drivers affected by the road closure.
