TimminsToday.com received the following letter from MADD Timmins asking local high school students to plan ahead.

MADD Timmins would like to congratulate all this year's graduating high school students.
And as students plan for graduation ceremonies and other celebrations, we hope everyone will enjoy this momentous occassion.
But MADD also encourages the need to plan ahead.
If there will be alcohol or drugs involved, students are reminded of the dangers of getting behind the wheel of any type of motorized vehicle and to make arrangements for designated drivers, taxis and public transportation.
Ontario has some of the lowest intoxicated driving rates in the country, and MADD hopes this continues.
