Bring a Friend Night 
Monday, Sept. 12
McIntyre Arena 

The Timmins Ringette Association is hosting an open house for potential new players. The free event is open to players of all abilities. The Fun 1 and Fun 2 division open house runs from 6-7 p.m. and is for players ages four to seven years. From 7-8 p.m. the open house is for U12 and U14 divisions for players ages 10 to 13 years.  Registration is not required. Participants are asked to arrive early and will need to bring at least a pair of skates, helmet, mittens or gloves. For more information, email [email protected].

Fall Craft and Vendor Show
Friday, Sept. 16-18
Porcupine Mall 

This popular shopping event is back and features local crafters and vendors. It runs Friday, Sept. 16 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 18 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Touch a Truck
Saturday, Sept. 17, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Second Avenue between Spruce and Brunette

The annual event is back and is a chance to get up close with some of the trucks in town. There is a sensory-friendly hour from noon to 1 p.m. There will also be a free barbecue sponsored by Newmont Porcupine.

Learn about local history at this attraction, which offers free admission. Every Saturday there are free hot dogs served up for visitors from noon to 3 p.m.
