Stop by for a screening of the 1959 movie Pillow Talk. It’s part of the library’s free events for Ontario Seniors’ Month.

National Indigenous Peoples Day

Friday, June 21, noon - 7 p.m.

There will be traditional drumming, dancing and teaching, vendors and artisans, and more. 

Open House

Saturday, June 22

Dream Acres Alpacas, 5590 Highway 101 W.

See how Dream Acres goes from fibre to end product and see the new baby alpacas. There will be alpaca yoga, vendors demonstrating their crafts. Yoga sessions are at noon and 2 p.m.

Documentary The Cove

Saturday, June 22

Timmins Public Library

After the documentary there will be a question and answer session with animal rights activist Ric O’Barry. It’s part of the library’s free events for Ontario Seniors’ Month.

Party to Ride

Saturday, June 22, 3 p.m. - 1 a.m.

Guiho’s Saw Sale Marine & RV

The party is back and featuring Cory Marks, Larry Berrio, Big Deal and Johnny Williams. There’s a free shuttle service starting at 3 p.m. with stops at Metro and Montana’s every hour. Tickets are $10 at the gate. All the proceeds are for the Timmins Porcupine Rotary Club.

Pioneer Day Celebration

Sunday, June 23, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Connaught and District Pioneer Museum, 3980 Connaught Rd.

There will be live entertainment starting at noon with the Timmins Police Pipes and Drums, a barbecue, games for kids and adults, and more. For more information call Sue or Rheal at 705-363-3201.
