Rock on the River lineup reveal

The Timmins Festivals and Events Committee is ready to reveal who will be hitting the stage at the 2019 Rock on the River two-day music festival. 

Spring Art Gallery for Kids - Glow in the Dark

Thursday, May 30, 5:30 p.m.

Art and Soul Studio, Porcupine Mall

Check out the amazing artwork from all ages of art students. The art room will be lit up with black lights and students used neon art mediums such as paint, watercolour, oil, pastels, etc., and their artwork will glow.

EACOM Anniversary

The Timmins sawmill is celebrating its 100th anniversary. There will be games, children’s activities,and  a community barbecue. 

Strides for Change

Saturday, June 1 10:30 a.m.

Gillies Lake

MADD TImmins and Area Chapter is hosting the annual five-kilometre walk/run. The money raised supports the chapter’s efforts to educate the public about the dangers of impaired drivers and to help victims in the community.

Fundraiser for Noah Charbonneau

Saturday, June 1, 8 p.m.

The Victory Tavern, 92 Cedar St. S.

There will be live entertainment, including Coldwater and special guests. It’s to support eight-year-old Noah Charbonneau, who has posterior urethral valves, vesicoureteric reflux, and acute kidney failure. Tickets are $10 and available at The Vic.
