Hockey Hall of Fame Exhibit

May 6 - 7, 1 p.m. - 8 p.m.

McIntyre Arena Curling club

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the McIntyre Arena and its founder, J.P. Bickell, this travelling exhibit is a chance to take a walk down memory lane, and play some interactive games.

McDonald’s

For every Big Mac, Happy Meal, or hot McCafe purchased, $1 will be donated to the Ronald McDonald houses and other local children’s charities.

Colouring and Cocktails

Timmins Museum

Celebrate spring with a splash of colour using one of Millie Marotta’s books. The cost is $30, plus HST, and includes an adult colouring book, set of colouring pencils, and refreshments.

Steps for Life

Saturday, May 11

Schumacher Lions Club Park

A fun five-kilometre walk to support families affected by life-altering workplace injuries, illnesses and deaths. Registration is at 10 a.m., with opening remarks at 11 a.m.

Mother’s Day Breakfast

Sunday, May 12, 9 a.m. - noon

Connaught Community Centre

The cost is $12 for adults, $7 for kids ages six to 10 years, and free for children five and under. 

An evening with Joseph Boyden

Sunday, May 12

Timmins Museum

Canadian author Joseph Boyden will be giving a talk, followed by a reception. The event is free, but spaces are limited. Pick up a ticket in advance at the museum.

Timmins Quilters' Guild Exhibit
